251207 エジンバラボーイ来るその②/Chinese boys coming from Edin. part2

まさかまさかとは思ってたんですけどホントに来てくれました。
彩加さん主催クリスマスランチーーー！！！at 彩加邸。クリスマスの日っていうのは本当に交通網はないんです。でも往復タクシー使って来てくれました。
えらいぞ！！

というわけで私も結構がんばって料理しました。留学の所産也。

カレー、サラダ２種、スイートポテト＆バナナパウンドケーキ。ほかのフラットメイトも来てくれて　大量に残ることなく、終わりました。

ありがとうね、エジンバラボーイズ君！　ありがとう、ほかのフラットにいたお兄さんお姉さん！！

手作り感、企画感満載だった今年のクリスマス。今はおかげさまで多少かぜっぴきさんです。

明日はロンドンはいよいよ大晦日。ボクシングセールでゲットしたいい感じのドレス着て今年最後のはっちゃけができるように、養生します！！

I thought that couldn't be true... but those guys came, to the Christmas lunch party at my flat!!

On Christmas day, all of london transportation is dead. However they got taxi for the return journey... Well done guys!!

So!! I made effort to cook for Christmas lunch. Cooking was the product of the effort during my studying in london, hahaha!!

Curry, two salads, sweet potatoes and banana poundcake. Other flatmates came too, therefore all foods were almost sold out!!!

Thanks for all the way coming, Edinburgh boys!!　and Thanks for all flatmate who were there at that time!!

This hand-made, organised Christmas of mine was satisfied, but thanks to those, I caught a cold...

Tomorrow will be finally the New Year's Eve -Wearing nice dress which I got at boxing sale, then I'll enjoy the end of this year!!!

241207 エジンバラボーイズ来る/Chinese boys coming from Edinburgh

お次のお客様は今年の夏エジンバラで知り合ったエジ院生の子withコースメイトfeauturing彼らのチューター。みなさん中国人でありました。。。

それでなんとイブの日にケンブリッジにみんなと一緒に行っちゃいました！

休暇中のダイヤでいつもの２倍の時間かかっちゃったり、名所がお休みで見られなかったりしたけど、みんなではしゃげて、楽しかったです！　なんかロンドンで初めて出会ったお友達のみんなもやさしくしてくれてとってもうれしかったなぁ。

そしてロンドンに帰ってきてから、彩加からの粋な演出。

トラファルガースクエアのツリーの下にてクリスマスカードを贈呈しました。ヨーロッパの家庭ではクリスマスの日にツリーの下に置かれたプレゼントを開くのが風習らしいです。

My next guests were my Chinese friend from the university of Edinburgh, who met this summer at Edinburgh. Then he came with two coursemates and their tutor.

Then I went to Cambridge on Christmas Eve together!!

It took us to go there as double times as usual, and some spots were closed because of the festive season, I enjoyed quite a lot!! Even though other guys met for the first time in London, they are so kind that I was really happy *^-^*

After coming back to london, my smart staging on Christmas eve, hahaha...

I gave them Christmas cards under the tree in Trafargar Square. In European families, I heard that there was a custom that they open there Christmas presents on Chrismas day under the tree.

221207 イタリアガールとロンドン観光！/Hang out with Japanese girls from Italy!

ドイツから帰国後第一弾は日本人の友達Fromイタリアとともにロンドンぶらり。主に行ったのはテムズ河沿いとポートベロマーケット。

ポートベロはノッティングヒルの恋人で有名なNottinghillgateっていうところにあります。


カリビアン系の人が結構いてこの季節だから、カリビアンサンタさん。




やっぱ川のほとりはいいです。かなり寒かったですけど！！（artistic shot from London...）

I met my Japanese friend who came from Italy. We chilled out around central London.

It's just like following sightseeing, mainly we went to the sightseeing spots near the Thames, and Portobello Market.


This market is located at Nottinghillgate sta, which is famous for the film.

Many Carribeans live here, and because of this season, 'Caribbean Santa Claus.'

I really love to walk along with the river, even though it was very cold!!!

171207 念願のドイツ！ミュンヘン編/Germany, I longed for... In Munich

ニュルンベルクから帰ってきてホテルに荷物をおいて、テレンジテレ－ゼというミュンヘンのクリスマスマーケットへ。普段はここでオクトーバフェスト（１０月に行われるビール祭り）が行われるそうです。


割と広い会場で、室内だったから回りやすかったかな？お店の種類もたくさんあって面白かったです。


そして翌日の昼はレジデンツ、とても豪華なデコレーションで「美術館要らなかったよね？」と納得。この日は月曜だったので美術館はほぼ休みだったんです。


そして夜は最後のクリスマスマーケットinミュンヘン。


ここでも一応友人からのお勧めが。ピーター教会という塔に登ってマーケットを上から眺めました。足ががくがくしっぱなしだったけどいい写真が撮れました♪


それからモルドワイン（ホットワイン）も飲み納め。記念カップもゲットして今おうちにあります。


家に帰ってきてちょとフラットメイトといろいろとあったんですけど、払拭してくれるかのように友達ラッシュがこの後は続きます…

Coming back from Nurnberg, droping luggages at our hotel, then we went to Theresienwiese, the place where the beer festival will be taken place every October.

It was a large area and some shops are indoor, so it was easy to look around, and I enjoyed its variety of shops.

Next day we went to Residenz, which had gorgeous decorations, so we realised 'It was not necessary to go to museums.' Because it was Monday, most of museums were closed.

Then finally, the Christmas market in Munich!!

Here I was recommended from my friends: I climbed up the tower of Peter Church, and saw the large scale scenery from above. Even though being afraid of how high it was, I got lovely pictures ^^v

And the mulled wine with fancy mug cups... I got a couple of them as souvenirs, and keep it at home now.

After going back to my flat, I had some trouble with my flatmate, however, my friends came from different countries just like wiping out my disgusting feeling!!

171207 念願のドイツ！ニュルンベルク編/Germany, I longed for... In Nurnberg

友人から聞いていた念願のドイツのクリスマスマーケットへ行ってきました！！





まずはそのクリスマスマーケットが一番有名なニュルンベルク！！





本場ということでもっと豪華なものを想像していたんだけど、意外と落ち着いていました。





マーケットといえば旅のキーワードにもなる…「ソーセージ」。ザワークラフトっていうキャベツの酢付けが付け合せについてるのがおいしかったです！





それからドイツ人は本当に温かい。と感じた旅のエピソード。この旅の帰りにドイツ人の老夫婦と電車で同席し、そのまま会話が弾んで、文通のやりとりをしましょうなんて約束もしました。

I went to authentic Christmas Market in Germany -my longed for dream since I heard from its attractiveness from my friend.





The first place was Nurnberg, the most famous Christmas Market!!





I imagined something more gorgeous because of the fame of its authenticity, however, it was calm and subtle, which I like.





Talking of Christmas Market in Germany, don't forget sausages!! 'Sauerkraut', Vinegared cabbages matched with pork sausages.





Then what I felt through meeting German people - their personality were very warm. I met one old couple on the way back to Munich, then we enjoyed chatting, promising to exchanging letters.

公演が終わった後、時間にも余裕ができたことを感じました。

となると冬休みを控えてやらなければいけないのは…

エッセイと卒業制作のワークショップ！！

ずばり冬休みを迎えるまでの２週間、エッセイと卒製のWSの記憶しかありません。。

エッセイ、たくさんかけたと思ったら結構英語の先生にカットされてショックだったなぁ…

あとクリスマスカードとかも書いてました。

（エッセイで使ってる文献ちゃんたち。全部は読みません！！笑）

After the performance was over, I could afford to doing something else!!

So, what I had to do was...

Essay and workshop for my grad piece!!!

During 2 weeks before my Christmas holidays, I just only have memories of essay work and rehearsal...

I thought 'Yes!! I've already written quite a lot!!' however, I cannot help cutting the section since I got English tutorial, which made me really shocked...

Then I wrote Christmas cards.

221107 ロンドン初の公演/Ayk's first dance showing in London

やっと砂糖ダンスのところまで来ました！！　一ヶ月ちょいまえの出来事になります。(^^ゞ

結果的にはすべての過程を含め、勉強になりました。　どれだけの粉砂糖をリハーサル期間から含めて吸ったのかな…（食べた、ではないですよ！！笑）想像できましぇん。

さてさて、ここで２つ前のアーカイブ、11月15日に戻っていただきたいと思うのです。。。私がダンスの舞台を見に行った日。

その日お会いしたAndrew教授が見に来てくださったんです！！初めてお会いしたときに１枚フライヤーを渡しただけだったのですが、本当に来て下さるとは思わなくて…

公演終了後会いに来てくださったときは本当にうれしくて、感慨無量。。。

このプロジェクトに誘ってくれたJess,見に来てくれたみんな、そしてカンパニーのみんなに感謝です。

Finally I could trace back till my sugar-dance performance.

Yes, it finally became the precious experience anyway, I couldn't imagine how much amount of sugar I inhaled(not ate!!!)...

Well then, I want you to going back to the former archive on 151107, when I went to see the dance performance.

The professor, Mr. Andrew came to see me, even though I just mentioned with the only flyer...

I was really glad to see him after the show, something touched my heart. I couldn't imagine his coming just only one meeting.

Thanks for Jess, who asked me out to join your project, and all who came to see me, and topple dancers!!

171107 初wagamama./ wagamama, anti-authentic Jpn restaurant…

Heatherのパフォーマンス後に、wagamamaっていう日本食のレストランへみんなで一緒に行きました。Wagamamaってイギリスでチェーン展開してるお店だけど、メニューがありえない創作っぷりです。。。本格派日本食レストラン、ではないですね。
とはいえ,久々の枝豆とアサヒビールに大満足してしまった、日本人彩加でございました。笑

After the tap performance of Heather, I joined the dinner at wagamama, which is not true Japanese restaurant. Uh---
But I enjoyed edamame and Japanese beer which I haven’t drunk for a long time.　Hahaha…

151107 Sadler's Well'sにて。/At Sadler's Well's...

今からさかのぼれば、それはもう１ヶ月前になる。

あるダンスの公演を私は学割で見ようとしていた。

当日券の列に並んでいたら、ロン毛で白髪のおじさんが「ここはStandby ticketの列かな？僕と一緒に行くはずだった相手が急に来られなくなってしまったんだよ。。。」

私：「いくらで譲っていただけますか？」

ロン毛氏：「…そうだね…￡５でどうだい？？」

額面￡４５。センター２列目。即決定。

そして後でシートについてから話をしていたら衝撃の事実が発覚。

「￡５のチケットを譲ってくれたのは同じ大学の教授」

へえええええええええ！！！！！！　こんなこともあるんだ！！！　専攻はSports Scienceって違うんだけど。

今後この教授との出会いが　とっても大事なものになっていくとは。　このときの自分はまだ気づいていない。

This is not about the report of a performance I saw, but something suprising...

It was almost 1 month ago when I met the man...
I was going to watch a dance performance with student discount ticket.

Standing on the quene, a elder man with white-long hair talked to me, 'One of my friends couldn't make it for today, so there's one ticket left.'

Me: How much will you sell for me??

Man: Well... what about 5pounds?

It was a 45pounds ticket... why not!?
I immediately decided to buy that one.

After seating when we were chatting, we knew one hiralious thing...

'The man next to me was the professor of the same university'

oooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh--------------------!!!!!
His major is Msc sports science.

Until now, I didn't realise that this encounter became something precious for me...

131107 London Tap Jam

一ヶ月おきに行われるこの企画★　今回はタップジャム参加者も増えた上に Will Gaines とHeather Cornellをお迎えしての、にぎやかな感じになりました。
私がやったのは…Summertimeでソロインプロ♪　しかしシューズは履きませんでした（汗）　でも最後にみんなで踏んだときはタップ踏ませてもらいました！（上の写真）
Tapjamのステージでモダンのインプロをさせてもらえるのは本当に貴重な体験、でもタップのステージなので次回はタップとモダン両方の要素を取り入れられたらなぁ…と思いながらどうやってやるんだい？みたいな（笑）
ちなみに写真にも写っているHeatherとは９月のギリシャのタップワークショップでお会いして、ちょっとした同窓会みたいになりました。ギリシャで踊ってる自分の姿を覚えてくださっているのがうれしかったです。ありがとうHeather *^-^*

This tapjam event is now held every other month.
This time the number of hoofers increased than before the session, and we welcomed Will Gaines and Heather Cornell as special guests. We energetically tappeeddd!!!
What I tried was… improvised with ‘Summertime’ ♪　Even though without shoes at that moment, I danced with tap shoes at last when we continuously rotated and danced.
(Look at the picture above!!)
It is a precious experience to allow to improvise contemporary dance at a tapjam stage, so I want to challenge the mixture of tap and contemporary dance simultaneously next time… But how???
By the way, Heather, who is in the picture, was a teacher I met in Greece tap workshop on this September. This opportunity was like the reunion party… I was glad that she remembered me improvising in Greece. Thank you Heather *^-^*

101107 父と暮らせば/the face of Jizo

電話をしたら「売り切れです」
そういわれていたお芝居のチケットが千秋楽にしてゲットできました。
上演されたのは井上ひさし脚本による「父と暮らせば」の英語バージョン。日本人キャストで行われました。

結果から言うと…号泣（焦）

時は戦後。主人公の女の子は私と同世代、自分の友人が原爆で死んだことを理由に自分が生きていることに罪を感じている。
ある日なくなったお父さんが時々現われて、１人で暮らす娘を叱咤激励する。
そのやりとりは楽しくも切ない、時に見ていてつらい気持ちになりました。

「あんときの広島では死ぬるんが自然で、生きのこるんが不自然なことやったんじゃ...　うちが生きとるんはおかしい」
この台詞は見る前から知っていたのですが、物語の中で聞いた自然と涙が止まらなくなりました。

同世代の女性として結構見ていたところがあって　共感も大きかったです。
やっぱり大きく違うのは　そのときの状況。　好きな事だって思いっきりできなかった。
だから今を生きる自分達は　その人たちのために生きなければいけない。

「世界平和のために　働いてください」

留学前にある人から言われた言葉を思い出したのでした。。。


‘It has been sold out, sorry.’
I was said on the phone though, finally I could get the ticket which I would love to see.
That was called ‘the Face of the Jizo’ scripted by Hisashi Inoue, played by Japanese actors.

As a result, I was sobbing while I was seeing…..

The time was post-war. A girl, who is the main character, felt guilty because she believed she had been alive instead of her friend’s death because of the atomic bomb.
Once upon a time, occasionally her dead father appeared in front of her, then urged her to live and follow her feeling obeidiently.
That interaction was funny but wistful, even I felt painful to feel how realistic it is…

To die in Hiroshima was the natural thing to do. To survive here is unnatural. ‘’
Though I’ve already known, I cannot sobbing once I was involved in the story.

I felt sympathy as the similar age with the main character, however, the main difference was the situation facing at that time. She couldn’t do what she wanted to. But I can do more because our life became conveinience now.
Therefore, we had to live, for those who devoted their life for our country and peace.

‘Please work for the world peace’

One of people I knew in Japan, said to me, and I remember the episode…

ブリュッセルで中休み②オプション編。/Mid break in Brussels ②

こちらは観光編★
２日目の朝に王立美術館に行けたし、みんなで飲んだベルギービール超―おいしかったし、
大聖堂の中に入って落ち着くこともできました。
そして最後の締めは…小便小僧！！でなく。
小便小僧の前でなんと観光用のフリーペーパーの取材をしている人に声をかけられ、取材されました。。。　ブリュッセルデビューしちゃうのかしら？？　笑
そしてそのジャーナリストさんに「じゃぁ残りの時間はどこで過ごしたい？」といわれたので、「落ち着いたところでカフェしたい」と言ったらものすごく雰囲気のいいグランカフェを紹介してくれて、コーヒー１杯飲んで帰ってきました。

ブリュッセルで過ごした２泊3日はただの中休みじゃなかったと思います。ロンドンに帰ってきてもなお得たことが今やっていることにつながっています。そして何よりの収穫は…

「ブリュッセルの空を見ていたらロンドンの曇り空も滅茶苦茶悪くはないなと感じるようになった」

I’ll report about some of my funny sightseeing next ^^;

I went to the Royal Museum of Belgium on the second day. We went out for lovely Belgian beers, then finally I could rest inside the impressive Cathedral…
But final stuff… it’s Manneken Pis!!
That’s not the only thing, but I was spoken to one of the journalist who reported for her travel freepaper. I was interviewed from her… My debut in Brussels!!?
Then she asked me ‘How would you like to spend the rest of your time in Brussels? ’
So I answered spontaneously, ‘I wanna chill out in a calm café…’ so she took me a nice grancafe, then I had a cup of coffee. That’s the end of my journey.
My 3days stay in Brussels brought me many fresh things. I believe that what I’m trying to do is still connecting what I learned there. What’s more, the best way of thinking I’ve got from Brussels was…

思い出起こしは11月初旬にさかのぼります★

Reading weekの最初の週末を利用して初ユーロスターでベルギーはのブリュッセルへ行ってきました。
目的はおいしいチョコとベルギーワッフル★
だけではなく、ギリシャのタップダンスワークショップで出会った先生がヨーロッパ中でワークショップをすると聞いたからです！！
いろいろコースワークのこととかも相談にのってもらえました。
時間が経って、今またダンサーたちとリハーサルを再スタートするところです。
親身に相談にのってくれたMaxに感謝です♪　
みんなにうまく伝えられるように精進するぞ！！

Let’s go back to the beginning of November !!

During reading week, I went to Brussels, Belgium by Eurostar, which was the first time for me.
My purpose is to eat authentic, delicious Belgian chocolate and waffles **
Oops not only those but also to take the tap dance class by a teacher who saw at the tap dance workshop in Greece this summer. He traveled around European countries to do workshops.
I talked about my courseworks, too haha..
As time goes by, I’ll start my rehearsal again with my dancers, which makes me a little bit nervous…
I wanna show great appreciation to Max, who heard my concern and supported me.
I’ll do my best, challenging to convey what I would like to express, which is in my head now!!

261107 新装開店！/Brandnew Ayk's Blog!!

お待たせいたしました。半ば無理やりの新装開店です。
今後の記録用にたくさん報告したいことがあるのですが、とりあえず心機一転これからも異国の地でチャレンジし続けます。
最新の状況としましては、イーストロンドン初の公演（粉砂糖の上を舞いました！！）を終え、休養をとり、明日からまた学校生活へと舞い戻るところです。
１か月分さかのぼって更新する予定ですが、辛抱してください（笑）

Long time no see everyone, Ayk's blog came back!!!
As my record for the future, I want to report you many things, anyhow, refreshing my mind, I'll challenge myself in London, not in my country...

Recently, my first modern dance performance in London was over this Thursday, taking tons of rest for a couple of days, then I'll go back to schoollife towards the end of the autumn semester.
