290408 久々の学内パフォーマンス/showing at campus

今週の金曜に、４月中に開講されたクラスのまとめとしてプロジェクトパフォーマンスがあります。クラスではデジタルテクノロジーが発達する社会の中でダンスはどう関わっていけるのかってことをワークショップとレクチャーを通じて学んでいます。

テーマは「ユニバーサル・アイデンティティ」。異なるからだ、国籍であろうとも、自分たちは他のからだを経験、体験できる。そんな願いをダンスとメディアのコラボを通していろんな形で伝えます。私はライブで踊り、ビデオクリップも編集しています！！久々のオンキャンのパフォーマンスで少し士気が上がってます！！

でも未だにどんな作品になるのかよく分かりましぇん（涙）
学校の課題するのに…猫の手も借りたい！！！

On this Friday, we'll have the collaborative project of our module, mainly about the exploration how to cope dance with the digital technology.

Our main topic is 'universal identity,' Even though we had the different body and nationality, we can experience other body; we'll try that with the collaboration of dance and the media. Then I'll dance on live& make some video clips!!

But we're not sure how the piece will gonna be.

Well, I need somebody's help to deal with every work!!!!!

290408 笑顔/Smile

あっという間に４月の春学期集中シリーズがすぎちゃう。　ホントに濃かったなぁ…あんなこと。こんなこと。

叩かれて、優しくしてもらって、また叩かれて。

つかの間の癒しを友達がくれて。

泣いてる暇なんかなかった。

この笑顔があればきっと前に進める。

The time flies since the intensive spring semester started on April. It was really fulfilling... I did this, I did that, or... Did I do these??

being pushed forward, treated gently, again pushed forward.

My friends let me healed for a short while.

There was no time to cry.

I can keep going if I can keep this smile.

060408 80歳のダンサー/An 80yrs old dancer

4月上旬に８０歳になるWill GainesのBirthday tap eventなるものがあった。


London Tap Jamに参加して以来、顔は覚えてもらっている。


誕生日にたくさん汗を吸収してもらうために手拭をプレゼントした。


次のステージも頑張りますと言った私に彼はこう返してくれた。「いつもやっていることをやればいいんだよ」

(手拭は巻いて差し上げました。似合うなぁ　笑)

There's the Birthday tap event for Will Gaines, who became 80yrs old but still tap dancing!!


He remember me since I joined London Tap Jam.


I gave him Tenugui(Japanese handkerchief) for the birthday present.


I said to him that 'I'll do my best for the next stage,' then he replied me, 'Do what you are doing as usual.'

（I wore Tenugui around his head, it really suit him!!）

日本帰国を振り返って/Looking my going back home

未だに日本にいたのかな～　と思ってしまいます。記憶はちゃんとありますよ（笑）

予想以上の何か、を得た気がします。

正確に言うと見えなかったものが見えるようになったのかもしれない。

渇を入れてもらって　なんかもう突き進むしかないなって思いました。

理論だけで動こうとするんじゃなくて　自分の意思が大事。

そして自分なりのペースで。　いい意味で「急がない」ということを教えてもらったのもＵＫだと思うから。

I am still thinking 'Was I really staying in Japan??' Of course I had memories of you!!! haha^^

I will say I got something more than I imagined.

To be honest, it may means that I could see what I couldn't see.

It is important for me not only relying on theories, but more important is about my decision.

And to continue in my own pace. In the positive meaning, that's UK life which taught me 'Unnecessity of rushing.'

インプロのワークショップ/dance impro workshop

今回のハイライト！こちらは予定より増えて、計４回のワークショップを行いました。

内容はダンスのインプロについて。参加者は各回全くばらばらでダンサーさんだけじゃなくて
役者さんとか、母校の後輩とか！

なんと最後は劇団ひまわりの俳優養成所でさせていただきました…（！！！）

イメージをビジュアル化することでどんな表現が可能か、とか
グループになって一緒に動くことでどんなことがおきるのか、とか、

ロンドンで学んだものをお手本にいろいろなメソッドを参加者のみなさんに紹介できました。

この成果は卒業製作で是非活かしたいと思います。

私のやり方はとてもマイペースだけど、うちのダンサーin Roehamptonもついてきてね(笑)

The highlight for this time!! I've done 4 workshops (increasing one session after arriving!!)

I introduced dance improvisation. The participants were varied such as dancers, actors/actresses and students in my mum's school!!

Finally I had the session in the drama school in Gekidan Himawari, one of talent agencies.

Through dance improvisation I learned in London, I taught how to visualise the image and how it can be expressed, and what will happen when all collaborates as a group.

I really hope to make the most of these result in my grad piece.

For ladies in my grad piece!! Please follow Ayaka, even though my pace haha...

In total, I got 29 students in my workshops in Japan. You are a part of my studying UK life ;-) Thank you very much for your corporation and patience!!

ダンスの講義/dance lecturer

日本に帰っての最初のお仕事はロンドンの大学院で書いたessayの題材を元にしたダンスの講義。
そう、先生、しちゃったわけです（笑）
intertextualityというとっても現地の子でもなかなか選ばなかった題材を選んでみました。
このエッセイを英語で書いてそれを日本語に翻訳しての講義。時間のかかる準備作業でした。なんせ１年前のことだったのでよき復習になりましたね。

My first mission was to give a dance lecture based on the essay I have written in the graduate school in London. Yes, I taught as a lecturer ^^;
The theme was about 'intertextuality,' which was so complicated that nobody chose this topic in my uni.
This essay was of course, originally written in English, so translating in Japanese then I presented in Japansese, which was a time-consuming work.
It was a good timing to review what I've learned a year ago.
